Hosts Global Academy of Technology’s Mrudula hogged the limelight on the second and final day of the VTU Single Zone aquatic championships at the PM Swim Centre here on Tuesday.
Mrudula clinched the gold in the 200M backstroke, 50M freestyle and 200M individual medley events on the day and finished second in the 400M freestyle. She was later bagged the individual championship.
Krishna N A of BMS College of Engineering won the boys’ individual championship. On the final day, Krishna had to settle for two silver and a bronze.
