Veerabhadreshwara Glass, Plywoods and Frameworks had lodged a case against Mr Thimmappa who is managing Shivappa Nayaka Institute of Medical Sciences.
Veerabhadreshwara Glass and Plywoods was assigned work in the institute for which Mr Thimmappa had given a cheque for Rs 36 lakh. The cheque bounced. The former minister failed to attend the hearings despite many summons were issued against him.
The court issued the warrant as Thimmappa did not turn up on Monday also.
The magistrate posted the case to September 21.
