The regional airport at Hassan will have a test flight by December 2008 and will be opened for commercial flights by April 2009,  Minister for Public Works Department H D Revanna said on Monday.
Speaking to reporters after meeting Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel and Secretary Ashok Chawla, he he has submitted the techno-economic feasibility report on the airport to the ministry. The in-principle clearance to the Rs 600-crore project will be available within four months, he added.
