Electrotherm’s new e-bikes
Electrotherm (India) Ltd has launched its ‘YO Speed’ electric two wheeler.  The bike with a 33AH battery and 750 watts motor run 500 kms in one litre petrol cost and with a high power, high speed and two seater features.

Priced at Rs 35, 400, the company aims to attract college students, the youth and old alike with cost efficiency, peppy colours and attractive looks. The bike will be marketed through its 200 plus exclusive showrooms across the country called YO Worlds and the company claims that their emphasis will be on service, spares and technological superiority over other bikes in the same range. YO Speed’s maximum limit is only 47 kmph.

Managing Director Shailesh Bhandari said the fully charged bike battery is good for 80 kms after which it will need to be recharged for another six hours. Company Director Avinash Bhandari said the company is scouting for an office space in Bangalore and will soon open its showroom there.
