Working in the direction of popularising science, the Indian Science Congress Association is organising a Rashtriya Vigyan Sancharak Sammelan during the 95th Science Congress to be held at Vishakapatnam in January, 2008.
This is a nationwide effort to examine the challenges and promote science communication in regional languages. Any one interested can participate in the State level programme to be organised by the local chapters and the best entries will be sponsored by ISCA to participate in the national seminar on the issue.
While there is no age bar, biodata with evidences of science communication if any during the last 10 years should be submitted on or before September 20, 2007.
Participants are required to present a paper or poster on the theme "Challenges in Communicating Science & Technology in Regional Language".
