Much to the excitement of people in nearly 104 villages, the  dam has filled almost up to brim.

The heavy downpour here for the last couple of days, only a few feets left for water to overflow, three years after its construction.  The dam was constructed to provide drinking water for these villages, despite Andhra Pradesh’s opposition. However, till this day drinking water was not supplied. Legislator G V Sriramareddy has assured of taking steps while former legislator N Sampangi threatens to take out intense agitation if the water was not supplied in 15 days.
