District and Sessions Judge R Venkatesh has imposed life imprisonment to a person for attempting to murder his uncle’s son.
The accused is auto driver P B Narayana, a resident of Belooru road, Somwarpet. He attempted to murder his uncle’s son Chandru at Ambedkar Circle in Atraget in Banavara. Chandru was injured in the incident. Moreover, he had also assaulted Chandru’s father Kepu, mother Cauvery and brother Ramu. Family rivalry is said to be reason behind the assault and attempt to murder. Somwarpet police had registered a case and had filed chargesheet against him in the court. Somwarpet police station Sub-Inspector (former) B Sundar had carried out the investigation. District Prosecutor Sudeep Bangera argued the case.
