Now a leading economic think tank says similar vouchers for health check-up, if introduced, may improve the economic productivity of the corporation.
With the objective of improving employees’ health, employers can issue vouchers which can be redeemed at their convenience for health check-up or other means like hitting a gym, the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) has suggested.
As companies cannot afford employees’ absence, health vouchers make economic sense, they feel.
