JD(S) District President H T Rajendra has alleged that the BJP MLA of the constituency has failed to disseminate the pro-people programmes of the coalition government to the people.

Addressing a party workers meeting conducted here on Tuesday, he said the MLA and other elected representatives of BJP have not only failed to take the facilities provided by the government to the common people but also given scope for wide corruption and partiality in the grassroots level. As the Opposition, Congress has totally failed, he added.

Though, JD(S) had to go on with the BJP as per the electorate’s decision, it kept up its ideologies by introducing new programmes like waiving of loans, rice at reduced rates, village stay and the like. It has framed pro-people programmes by having control on the communal BJP, he said. He appealed the party workers to convince the voters in this regard for the forthcoming local body polls.

City Unit President K S Kadappa Gowda presided. Constituency working president T d Prasanna, spokesperson K R Sathish Gowda, Minority Division chief Badriya Mohammed and Youth Division president H K Suresh were present.
