During a protest staged near the Royal Concorde School on ORR, residents, including those from Challakere, Kylasanahalli and Vaddarapalya, raised concerns over the 21.2-km road which is said to displace thousands of people from villages dotting the road alignment.
Raja Reddy, who has been mobilising public support to the movement against the project, also said the ORR neighbourhood — that has four BDA layouts — didn’t have any lung space and called for preservation of the lake, on which Rs 80 lakh has already been spent.
