One of them was killed on the spot and the other was  grievously injured
The deceased has not been  identified and injured person has been  shifted to  Tiptur hospital for treatment.
The two of them were waiting for a bus at the Kibbanhalli cross when  a speeding lorry knocked  them downi.
Witnesses  say that the driver’s negligent driving resulted in the accident.
It is has indeed  become  a difficult  proposition for pedestrains to walk safely on the sidewalks of the National highway. May of the heavy duty truck drivers display a  callous  disregard for human  life there which has killed quite a few. The Tiptur  rural police have registered a case against the  lorry driver.
