By A Staff Reporter
Bangalore, Sept 16
Karnataka at the moment is not in a position to supply over five TMC of the Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu according to indications available here.
Both the water storge position in the Kabini and Krishnaraja Sagar Reservoirs and the monsoon pattern would not permit to give more water to Tamil Nadu, official sources said here today.
Any such increase in the quantum of water to Tamil Nadu might not be in the interests of Karnataka.
