In a suspected case of child sacrifice, the local police in Orissa’s backward district of Nowrangpur recovered dead bodies of two minor boys from deep inside the forest.
Police sources said, the parents of two five year old boys had registered a compliant with the Raigarh police last Thursday that their sons were missing.
The police recovered the headless bodies of the two boys, Guju Ganda and Dablu Ganda, from the forest near their village following a tip off last Friday.
The mutilated bodies and the heads which were wrapped in gunny bags separately were found on the same day nearly 1 km away from the village. The police have confirmed that the twin murder could be a case of child sacrifice as vermilion was found on the foreheads of the boys.
