Under the brand-building initiative, KMF will remodel booths as ‘Nandini Shoppe’ to attract more consumers to the Nandini brand. Ravikumar Kakde, Director, said KMF has begun remodelling milk booths.
“We found the milk dispensing concept pioneered by Mother Dairy two decades ago, though well received in its initial stages, resulted in a decrease in sales as consumer preference was for packaged milk. This resulted in the Mother Dairy doing a rethink and refurbishing its milk booths.”
The Mother Dairy has already begun remodelling 40 booths in residential here at a cost of Rs 4 lakh per unit. It will refurbish 40 more booths by this year-end.
