Bottle art works at ground zero
Sharan H Desai, former member of Karnataka  State Planning Board, will showcase his collage and bottle art works at ground zero of the World Trade Centre in New York. Mr Desai will display his works for a week in the last week of September. “The collages will comprise pictures of US President George W Bush, Al-Qaeda head Osama-Bin-Laden, etc,” he said.

Youth drowns
Bangalore, DHNS: A youth drowned in the Chikkabanavara lake while immersing the Ganesha idol late on Monday.
He has been identified as Ganesh (21), a resident of Soledevanahalli. Locals vented out their anger when police expressed their inability to fish out the body.
