The Rajbhavan has directed to take suitable action against Tumkur Varsity as it denied to provide information under Right to Information act.
The direction has been given by the the office of the Governor, in a letter to the University as per the complaint given by freedom fighter V S Ramachandran.
Mr Ramachandran had written a letter to the Governor’s Office saying that the University denied to give information to the query of R Vishwanathan regarding the appointments done by the Tumkur University under Right to Information Act.
He had also complained that the Tumkur University had not only denied the information, but also rejected the application given by Ramachandran.
