Kannada and Culture department will organise district level Samskrithi utsava depicting the art forms of the district at Tarikere on September 18.
The programme will be inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Naveenraj Singh.
Zilla Panchayat CEO K Sundar Naik, Deputy Divisional Officer Dr M T Reju, DySP P Paul, Taluk Panchayat EO A Nataraj, BEO T N Somashekaraiah, Kannada Sahitya Parishath taluk unit President B S Bhagavan and others will be the chief guests. The utsav will include ‘bhavageethe,’ folk song, carnatic classical music, dance ballet.
Arivu artist will stage ‘parivarthane’ drama. A procession comprising of Veeragase, Dollukunitha, Chittimela, Somanakunitha will proceed towards the venue from Om Circle.
