Search for net images in 300 languages
Researchers in the US claim to have developed a search engine that enables people to search for images on the Internet in at least 300 languages, IANS reports from New York. The new service, ‘Panimages’ has been made available due to the efforts of researchers at the Turing Institute at Washington University.
No pips, just juice

Yes, a chance find by a farmer has led to the development of the world’s first seedless lemon which is likely to go on sale in Britain early next year, the Daily Mail reported here today.

Actor Richard Gere used to have a bizarre compatibility test for potential girlfriends, IANS reports from London. Mr Gere showed potential girlfriends pictures of body parts and severed heads.
He used to collect strange photographs, which he hung all over his apartment.
He told contactmusic.com,“If they didn't like it or threw up, or whatever, they definitely were not going to be someone in my life.”
But Gere’s wife was smart enough to pretend to like the pictures when they were dating. After they got married, she said, “Get them out of the house.”
