The tall & short of it!
Mandya: He is 18 years old, but he is not even 2 feet tall! Meet Mr Deepu, seen in the photo alongside, standing next to his classmate H N Chandra, who is studying first year PUC in the Government Junior College in Belagola village, Mandya District.

He is the only man in his family who is not 'growing', while his siblings have normal growth. According to him, consanguineous marriage is the reason behind this.

For all we know, he may be the shortest 'man' in Karnataka! The height of the story is that, though an adult, he has never paid the bus fare till today. For, conductors don’t consider him an adult. To top it all, nobody even bothers to enquire about his age. And he says this with pride.
Probably even height matters sometimes!
