DCC Bank to adopt Core Banking solution

Kodagu district Co-operative Central Bank has decided to bring all the 69 branches of Vyavasaya Seva Sahakara Bank and 13 branches of DCC under Core Banking Solution.

Addressing a press meet on Tuesday, Bank President M A Ramesh and Managing Director Diwakar said all the VSSN and DCC bank branches will be connected to the main branch to provide service to the customers.”
The bank has already entered into a memorandum with HCL and tender has been invited for the purpose. Rs 1.75 lakh will be spent on every branch. Five branches will have ATM facilities.

The Bank has also decided to enter into an agreement with Motorola company for mobile banking facility.
The bank has earned profit of Rs 1.21 crore. If the government waives off the interest on the loan borrowed by the growers, then the Bank can register a profit of Rs 10 crore next year.

In 2007-08, the bank will disburse Rs 170 crore crop loan. A total of Rs 141 crore loan has already been disbursed.

The bank has deposit of Rs 169.27 crore as on March 31, he added.
