NRI cell opened
Karnataka Bank Limited opened an NRI Cell at Mumbai. Located in Bank’s International department, the cell is intended for better service to NRI customers. Bank Chairman Ananthakrishna inaugurated the cell. Chief GM P Jayarama Bhat, Deputy General Manager V M Samaga, AGM, International Division M V Mohan were present.

New DCA president
Dr Srikanth Rai has been elected as the new president of DK district Cricket Association in the Executive committee meeting held in Mangalore on September 16. According to a press release, the other office bearers are Dr Devdas Rai, Dhiraj Amin, Gowda (Vice Presidents), Arun Kumar Shetty (Hon Secretary), Nithin Shetty (Treasurer), Prabhakar Shetty, Ratan Kumar (Asst Secretaries), Sujith Kumar, Jayaraj Muttu and Nagaraj Nair (Executive committee members).
