We have no objection to Deve Gowda meeting Governor:DVS
Madikeri, dhns:

“We have no objection to JD(S) Supremo H D Devegowda meeting the Governor and there is absolutely no need to paint the incident with special colours”, said BJP State President D V Sadananda Gowda.

Addressing a news conference on Tuesday, he said that a senior political leader has met a new Governor to discuss the political scenario in the state, which is natural and hence the incident needs no special analysis.

When questioned if JD(S) Legislative Party meeting had taken the decision to continue H D Kumaraswamy as the Chief Minister, Mr Gowda said that the decision of electing the legislative party leader is totally the party’s prerogative. “Even we had called our legislative party meeting over seven times to discuss the political scenario in the state and to discuss the functioning of the government. In three of such meetings we had decided that B S Yediyurappa will be the next CM”, he said.

Answering a query if BJP will come to power, Mr Gowda said that BJP has always ruled with faith hence transfer of power is not a issue to be discussed at all. If our faith and trust is hurt on October 3, then lets see”, he added,
He expressed his confidence of winning over 50 per cent seats in the local body elections.
