The Jatha which was organised to create awareness among the slum residents will conclude tomorrow. The Jatha was organised by District Slum Residents’ welfare Committee.
The valedictory function will be held at Krishnarajendra Auditorium at town hall tomorrow at 3 pm. Y J Rajendra will inaugurate the function. Journalist S Naganna, M B Naganna, Saiyed Mujeeb, Indra Kumar, Devaraju will be the chief guests. District Slum Residents’ welfare Committee president A Narasimha Murthy will deliver the key note address. T R Nagesh, Thirumalaiah will participate.
Advocate S Ramesh will preside over the function. The role of slum residents in the local body elections and demands will be decided in the function, said District Slum Residents’ welfare Committee Chief Secretary Saiyed Mujeeb in a release.
