Legislator B P Venkatmuniappa has said all the party workers have to make strong resolution to win the upcoming local body elections. He was speaking at programme organised near his home to induct new members into BJP on Monday.
“Members of the other parties are disillusioned by their party workings towards development projects and therefore have joined our party. I have taken up the responsibility of the Bethmangala constituency and will work towards making it a model constituency” he added.
Nine Congress members quit the party and joined the BJP under the leadership of senior Congress leader and former president of GP Koteramgulla Sitarammappa with the legislator in attendance.
Taluk president of BJP, Hosarayappa, MalleshGowda, Parthasarthi, Sampangi reddy, Balamande Grama panchayat preseident Manjunath, Thoppannahalli Grama panchayat president Yallappa, Krishnappa were present on the occasion.
