English classes
Kudarathi Media Creations is conducting a 60-day free Spoken English course.Training will be imparted at the office located on Ashoka Road. PhD awarded
Hitesh Appaiah N has been awarded PhD in Biochemistry for his thesis on ‘Studies on the involvement of EMMPRIN and HABP.’  Dr M Karuna Kumar was the guide.

Rally
The Inner Wheel Club of Mysore West in association with Bharath Cancer Hospital is conducting a cancer awareness rally on September 22. The rally is being held as part of the Rose Day, observed as the Cancer Patients Day. Students from Nursing College will participate. The rally will begin at 9.30 from the Centre on Irwin Road. A free detection camp will also be held at the Centre from 10 am to 4 pm.

Dental camp
The Rotary Club of Mysore North in association with JSS Hospital has organised a free dental and eye camp for school children of Vajamangala. It is being organised at the Vajamangala Higher Primary School.

Diabetes camp
CSI Holdsworth Suraj Health Care Centre is conducting a diabetes detection camp on September 20. It will be held at the Centre between 8 am and 12 pm.  A free blood sugar test will be conducted as part of the camp. People are required to come on empty stomach for the test.
