Providing independent filmmakers an opportunity to showcase their individual talents and cinematic works to a wider audience such as eminent filmmakers, professionals and critics from the film industry, FilmCamp purports to be a jamboree for ambitious acolytes of cinema drawn from across the country to come together, network in an informal manner irrespective of their genre of cinema and cinematic idioms...

All you aspiring auteurs, if you believe you have it in you to make a movie — commercial or arty — you can pitch your talent tent at FilmCamp. This initiative, has been floated under the aegis of Jain Group of Institutions Centre for Management Studies, Bangalore.

Providing independent filmmakers an opportunity to showcase their individual talents and cinematic works to a wider audience such as eminent filmmakers, professionals and critics from the film industry, FilmCamp purports to be a jamboree for ambitious acolytes of cinema drawn from across the country to come together, network in an informal manner irrespective of their genre of cinema and cinematic idioms. 

The camp is limited to about 80 seats. The deadline for submission for all independent films is September 22. While language is no limitation, English subtitles are welcome. The mode can a mobile, handycam, or regular professional cameras.  Make sure it’s one’s own creation and credits given appropriately for each film. All genres of films are eligible. At least one anchorperson from the crew has to be present during the screening, credits and contact details must be given for further queries. So hurry up and let the auteur in you find fruition.
