Make-up artist Gouri Kapur is conducting an introductory course on make-up and grooming at her institute in the City.

According to a release, at Gouri Kapur’s institute, the professional course is said to equip students with relevant skills which will equip them to not only  meet the industry standards but also improvise on it and give their clients the best.

The 20-day long workshop, along with a certification, will also provide the students  adequate support and guidance in terms of career development.

“The course has been designed in such a way that each class would have a small number of students to ensure better quality in teaching,” Gouri Kapur was quoted as saying in a release.

Gouri Kapur, who finds teaching immensely satisfying, says, “It ensures that I impart all the knowledge that I have accumulated over the past couple of decades to those who are eager to learn. However, the essential requirements for an upcoming artist are an inclination for this particular art and possess a well developed sense of colour and form.”

As a make-up and grooming artist, one would be working alongside photographers, actors and directors.
Gouri says her course would cover all aspects of the industry requirements which are primarily for advertising, modelling agencies, film, theatre, music videos and television, among many others.
