A free eye check-up and surgical camp under the joint auspices of Dr Rajkumar Trust, Rotary Tumkur, Narayan Nethradhama and Inner Wheel clubs has been organised on September 23 at Basaveshwara High School premises on BH Road.

The camp to begin at 10 am will be inaugurated in the presence of Siddaganga seer Dr Shivakumar Swami and Dr Shivananda Shivacharya Swamiji, said Dr Rajkumar Trust’s Vasan addressing a press conference.

Rotary district governor H Rajendra Pai will inaugurate the camp. Prdoucer Parvathamma Rajkumar, MP S Mallikarjunaih, Sericulture Minister Sogadu Shivanna, SP P Harishekaran, actors Shivarajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar, Narayan Nethradam chairman Dr K Bhujanga Shetty, Palyam Ramesh, Subashini Shivakumar will be the chief guests, he said.

“This is a completely free check-up camp. The trust which is working under Dr Raj’s principles and ideals will hold more such camps in the future.  The poor people should make use of this camp properly,” he said.
Those who are in need of surgery after the check-up will be send to Narayana Nethradhama in Bangalore and even this will be completely free of cost, he said.
