A free eye check-up camp under the joint auspices of Sharad Devi Nethradhama, Maruti Eye hospital, District blind rehabilitation organisation, Spatikapuri Charitable trust and District Health and Family Welfare department has been organised on Friday at Lakkanahalli in Sira taluk.

The camp is being held at the village’s Government Primary school premises. It will be inaugurated by Pattanayakanahalli Gurugunda Brahmeshwara Mutt seer Sri Nanjavadoota Swami.

After the check-up the patients in need of further treatment will be treated at Sharada Devi Eye hospital in Tumkur free of cost, said a release.
