The Congress party manifesto for the forthcoming local body election will be released on September 21, said DCC President Ramanath Rai.
Addressing a press meet here on Wednesday, he said “Congress party will win more number of seats in the forthcoming MCC election. Taxes will not be hiked if the Congress is elected to power. The party will see that no burden levied on the people.”
He said “those who did not get the tickets need not be disheartened. Their services will be utilised for organising the party.” Congress is contesting from 59 wards. While selecting the candidates we have given preference to all sections of the society, he added.
