Jeev for Indian Open
New Delhi, PTI:

After a four-year hiatus, country’s highest ranked golfer Jeev Milkha Singh will return to Hero Honda Indian Open to challenge buddy and defending champion Jyoti Randhawa in the USD 500,000 Asian Tour event scheduled at the Delhi Golf Club from October 11-14.

“It’s a great news that Jeev, after his sensational form last year, would return to Indian Open after a gap of four years, while Jyoti would be there to defend his title,” Pawan Munjal, CEO of Hero Honda, said on Thursday.
This would be Jeev’s first tournament in his homeland since his scintillating run of form last year that yielded four titles. Randhawa would have to stave off stiff challenge from a tough field to defend his title.

Shiv Kapur would like to do justice to his potential. Thai’s Thaworn Wiratchant and  Mardan Mamat of Singapore will lend the foreign flavour. along with  Four-time European Tour champion Australian Peter Senior and China’s Liang Wen-chong,.
