Nischal G N, may pass off like any other 16-year-old. But this first PU student of Bhagavan Mahaveer Jain College is different from his peers, What sets him apart is his unique talent.
Nischal has accomplished the art of balancing a 1.25 kg cricket bat on his nose tip for seven to ten minutes, without a break. “I have been practicing this act since I was in Class VII. Initially, out of sheer curiosity I learnt to balance a six-feet long stick on my nose. A month back, my parents advised me to use a cricket bat instead of the stick and I was successful in balancing that too,” said Nischal while talking to reporters in Bangalore on Saturday.
Aiming for record
Nischal’s father G C Netranand, a businessman had approached the Guinness Book of World Records few days back asking them to assess his son’s talent. In return they sent an agreement to Nischal regarding the record attempts and other formalities.
“One of the main criteria put forth by the Guinness Book of World Records for Nischal’s entry is that his talent should be highlighted in the local media,” said Mr Nethranand.
Avid cricketer
Apart from this ‘hobby’, Nischal is an avid cricket fan and loves playing it too. He is also a bright student.
Nischal’s family is planning to approach the Limca Book of records in the coming days to record Nischal’s talent.
