A proposal for a diploma college and a women’s hostel to Kalasa has been sent to the government, said MLA M P Kumaraswamy.
Speaking after inaugurating students council of Kalasa Government First Grade College on Saturday, he said people have been demanding TCH and Polytechnic colleges to Kalasa. The government will be urged to start a women’s hostel at the earliest. A sum of Rs 1.5 lakh has been released from MLA fund for the purchase of furnitures to the College, he added.
