Steaming dal poured on Dalit
Steaming dal was poured on a Dalit woman and her infant daughter while several others were beaten up for allowing their children to play in the premises of a temple here, reports PTI from Patna, citing the police. The victims were attacked by Ramavtar Yadav, a resident of Shahpur and his sons Yadav has been arrested.

Female teacher shot at
A female teacher of a management institute here was critically injured after being allegedly shot at by two assailants, reports PTI from Ghaziabad.

Sarita Palan, coordinator and teacher of the Unique Institute of Management and Technology, is suspected to have been shot at by a history-sheeter who happens to be a relation of the institute’s chairperson.

A city resident on Saturday claimed that his mobile phone exploded when its battery was being charged, reports PTI from Ujjain.

Anjanesh Sharma, a resident of Daulatganj locality, said that his mobile exploded suddenly when its battery was being charged.
