Woman forced to eat excreta

A 40-year old woman, Rukmini Devi, was branded a witch and forced to eat excreta by four persons in Gopipur village in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district, according to police sources , PTI reports.

The incident took place on  September 12.

Following the incident, an FIR had been lodged in the Manoharpur police station.
