The CBI on Friday raided the home of a former RAW official, Maj Gen (retired) V K Singh after registering a case against him under the Officials Secrets Act.

CBI sources said the case was registered against Singh, a former joint secretary in the external intelligence agency, on the advice of the Cabinet Secretariat for allegedly disclosing in his book certain secret information he had dealt with during his tenure in RAW.

Agency officials were tight-lipped about the development.
