Online sale of ODI tickets
Ahead of the first one-day between India and Australia, scheduled to be held in Bangalore on September 29, the Karnataka State Cricket Association unveiled the internet bookings for tickets, and the venture will be handled by Ticketpro India.

Detailing the plan, Brijesh Patel, KSCA secretary, said, “Anyone who has access to a computer anywhere in the world, can book and print these tickets. Ticketpro also promises to help us analyse the pattern of customers who buy our tickets and may be we can use that information when we market our tickets for Test matches,” Patel said.

“The sale of tickets through counters and through the internet, both manned by Ticketpro, will commence on September 24,” Patel added. Those who asipre to buy tickets can log onto www.ticketpro.in or call the toll free number – 18004251115 for their tickets.

Sadiq, Arjun star  for SBMJC
Half-centuries by Sadiq K (67 n.o) and Arjun H (64) helped Sree Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College score an easy 174-run win over National College in the BHS First Grade College invitational inter-collegiate cricket tournament on Friday.

Veterans road race on Sep 30
The Karnataka Masters Athletic Association will conduct the road race for veteran athletes (above-35 age category ) on September 30 at Sreekanteerava stadium.

The race will serve as selection trial for the State team for the National Minithon race to held in Thane on October 28.
