Diploma students should develop technical skills, said Zilla Panchayat former president H S Ashok.  Speaking after inaugurating students council, sports and NSS activities, he called upon the students to take part in extracurricular activities.

Zilla Panchayat Education and Health Standing Committee President V P Shashidhar said students should develop leadership qualities. Leadership qualities will help them in developing their personality. Congress leader S N Narasimhamurthy, BJP leader G L Nagaraj also spoke. Principal L Lingaraju presided.
