The future of coalition government is in the hands of Bellary district mine owners, said Administrative Reforms Commission Chairman M Veerappa Moily.
Speaking after inaugurating Congress election office in Mangalore, he said the mine owners decision will be final on the transfer of power.
He said BJP-JD (S) came to power owing to the mines lobby. The government is not for the development of the State.
The state government failed to protect the interest of thousands of labourers who were depending on KIOCL by not allowing mining in the region. But it has given permission for illegal mining in Bellary district. District Congress Committee President Ramanath Rai and other office-bearers were present at the programme.
