JD(S) State Youth Unit Chief Secretary P G Vijay Kumar and leader K P Navamohan submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner to reconstruct the Lakshmisagar tank bund.

Chances of the tank being full is more in this rainy season if the bund is reconstructed within a week, they said and urged the Deputy Commissioner to take rapid measures for its reconstruction. here was storage of water for two years, but due to the apathy of the officials it has broken which has resulted in the loss of crops.

At the same time, they ordered the officials to give compensation to those farmers who have lost their Pump sets and suffered loss due to damage of crops. JD(S) leaders K P Navamohan, Rajesh, Munikrishnappa, Munivenkatappa, Rajanna, Raghu, Nagaraju, Guru and others were present.  were  present.
