Feroz Counters Mody’s Arguments
New Delhi, Sept 22.
Mr Feroz Gandhi, MP in a press statement today has rebutted the arguments of Mr H P Mody, Director of the Tatas, that the Tata Engineering and Locomotives (TELCO) have not charged excessively high price for locomotives manufactured for governments.
Scribes to claim dues
Bombay, Sept 22.
The Indian Federation of Working Journalists adopted a resolution directing its constituent units to take prompt steps to file claims in respect of dues under the decisions of the Wage Board for Journalists and press the state governments to secure recovery of their dues.

‘Space Flight Another Link In Indo-Soviet Ties’
Moscow, Sept 23.
Prime Minister Indira Gandhi described the proposed joint flight by Indian and Soviet spacemen as “yet another link in the strong chain of friendship between the two countries.”
Speaking at “Star City,” housing the vast training centre for cosmonauts, she said young people in India were inspired by the great achievements of the Soviet Union in the realm of space research.
