Heavy rains which lashed Malnad region and threw the normal life out of gear. The rivers and lakes are over flowing and crops in several regions of Malnad have been destroyed.
Paddy crops in Banakal, Gonibeedu, Balur area are facing the threat of rot disease owing to the heavy rains that has been lashing over these areas over the last 4 months.
Sudhir, a farmer from Mogur said that they are not even in a position to go out and spray some pesticide to prevent the disease owing to the heavy rains.
Heavy rains continue to lash over Baluru, Sunkasale, Durgadahalli, Javali, Maliganadu, Needuvale, Kove, Kottigehara, Urubage, Devarunda, Bairapura, Guttihalli, Mularahalli, Kasaba perturbing the normal lives of the people. As the cities are being gripped with election fever, the candidates are holding their propaganda when the rains stop and during the night.
