Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Wednesday: Moderate to rather heavy rain likely to occur at most places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Kodagu, Chikmagalur, Shimoga and Hassan districts. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over remaining districts of the State. Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy to heavy rain may occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and ghat areas of South Interior Karnataka during next 48 hours.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
