Thief lynched in Bihar again

In yet another case of lynching by mobs, a youth, accused of entering a house to commit theft, was beaten to death by angry villagers in Bihar’s Gopalgunj district, police said on Tuesday.

The incident took place late on Monday night in Lohkhara village when 22-year-old Bikrama Ram allegedly entered the house of Kariman Manjhi and was captured by family members, police said. Several villagers gathered on the spot and clobbered the youth with sticks leading to his death.
