With a few hours left for the Mysore City Corporation election, all the candidates were seen involved in last minute ‘trick’ to woo the electorate in all the wards in the city on Thursday night.

Various party activists and supporters of candidates were sighted distributing various ‘gifts’ to the voters in their respective wards escaping the eyes of the police and leaders.

Apart from the incident in which JD (S) and Congress members had clashed over distribution of sarees in Gayathripuram on Wednesday night, no untoward incident was reported in Mysore on Thursday.

Living to true to the characteristic of any election, various parties freely distributed liquor among the residents. Independent candidates too were not far behind them in this regard. Cars loaded with liquor bottles were seen moving the across the city in a breezy fashion through out the night.
