JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda’s statement expressing his affection for his son has undoubtedly created an air of suspicion, but, BJP is not in a position to react to it as it has its priorities right.

Addressing a news conference on Thursday, BJP State President D V Sadananda Gowda said that it is not the time to talk about relationships. “The BJP will only concentrate on elections. We will discuss about these comments only after September 30,” Mr Gowda added.

Commenting on the Bellary incident, Mr Gowda said that the Bellary incident must not be linked to power transfer.
“Mr Sriramulu's issue will be discussed with the seniors of the party,” he added.
