Former chief minister S Bangarappa on Friday announced his re-entry to the State politics and said that he will not contest the Lok Sabha elections in future.
Addressing reporters in Bangalore, he said he will be active in the State politics and will contest the next Assembly elections from any constituency other than Soraba.
On the present political turmoil, he said that mid-term poll in the State is inevitable as the JD(S) will not hand over power to the BJP.
He also demanded immediate imposition of the President’s rule in the State. Mr Bangarappa took a dig at the State Government on BMIC issue and said due to the mistake done by Government by floating a fresh tender, the entire State has been insulted.
