Phone stolen in stadium

Minutes before the toss, Indian cricket team local manager looked terribly depressed after he lost his favourite and expensive cell phone at M Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Sources said, Ramesh’s cell phone was stolen from KSCA Secretary Brijesh Patel’s chamber when he had put it for charging.

The cricket team manager was seen fuming at everyone passing by after he found his cell phone missing.

Rs 1.80 lakh robbed

Miscreants struck an Indian Bank ATM kiosk, which had no security guard, on Kadubesanahalli in HAL Police station limits and decamped with Rs 1.80 lakh during the wee hours of Saturday.

A college staff, residing opposite the kiosk, informed the police as they found premises ransacked.
Dog squad and finger print experts were pressed into service.

Racket unearthed

CoD sleuths arrested a main accused and unearthed a fake Bangalore University marks sheet racket on Saturday. Narayan Swamy used to print and sell empty fake marks sheet for Rs 2,500. After reading an article in a section of the media, Bangalore University registrar lodged a complaint with the Ulsoor Gate police station. The CoD, had probed the complaint.
