PhD awarded
Mr Ananthapadmanabha Achar has been awarded the PhD for his thesis titled “An analysis of the behaviour of teaching community towards consumption, savings and investment - A case of Udupi district,” by the Manipal University.

According to a press release, Mr Achar was successfully guided by Prof P S Yadapadithaya, professor & chairman, Department of Commerce, Mangalore University.

Blood donation camp held
The NSS unit of Srinivas College of Hotel Management in association with the blood bank of Mangalore Nursing Home had organised a blood donation camp on September 16. The college NSS Programme officer Prof Padmanabha and Dr Ananthalakshmi Bhat of Mangalore Nursing home co-ordinated the programme. Medical Officer of Srinivas Group of Colleges Dr Annayya Kulal and Medical Officer of the blood bank Dr P Bhandary and staff were present to guide the students, informed a press release.
