Masumeh is very excited about the forthcoming release of Sanjay Gupta’s Dus Kahaniyan, a collection of ten stories on relationships and emotions, each making a significant point.

She plays the lead in one of the stories, High on the Highway, written by Vishal Bhardwaj. Masumeh has earlier worked with Bhardwaj in Maqbool, and her role as Pankaj Kapur’s daughter had won her critical acclaim.

“It is a pleasure to be associated with Vishal Bhardwaj, whether he acts as a director, a writer, or a producer,” Masumeh says. “He has such a great cinematic mind, and his sensibilities are awesome. My role in this story has a definitive graph, and the emotions are so real.”

Let’s hope that this collaboration is as fruitful as the first time, for both.
